PLAN Systems engineering is proud to announce another step forward towards the PLAN prototype scheduled for mid 2019. Since the previous milestone of fully laying out PLAN's design and its rigorous Proof of Correctness, we now have the PLAN "storage node" on its feet. As our design-docs describe, this daemon (background process) implements a "StorageProvider", which is a highly secure repository for a PLAN community to warehouse its data. This milestone is an exciting step as this centralized implementation is, by design, substitutable with a decentralized system or blockchain.

Bottom Line: The PLAN Storage Node is built to keep data secure and accessible. Whether you're running a lighting fast central server, or you want the protection, assurance, and persistence of a distributed ledger, you won't need a third party to host your data.
