Retreat in the Redwoods
DWeb Camp is a five-day retreat where diverse builders and dreamers gather in nature to connect, learn, share, and have fun, while working to build a better web. A web that is more open, private, and secure. A web with many winners — a decentralized web.
PLAN Systems at DWeb Camp
As the DWeb Austin Node, we are enthusiastic supporters of the Internet Archive led DWeb Camp event. PLAN Systems attended DWeb Camp in 2019 to meet the DWeb community, and share about our initial PLAN prototype. For us, DWeb Camp is the perfect environment for a high impact demonstration of how p2p / distributed systems can combine with realtime 3D interfaces (UI/UX) to deliver communications and immersive collaboration capabilities that communities need.
Connect, Learn, & Grow
Set in the beautiful redwoods near the Mendocino coast of California, DWeb Camp is a place where we gather in nature to tackle the real-world challenges plaguing the web and to co-create the decentralized technologies of the future.
WHO SHOULD COME: Are you a coder, policymaker, artist, activist, armchair philosopher or all of the above, working to build a better digital world? Ready to get your hands dirty and build something new from the ground up? Love to camp, code, create art and connect with the great outdoors? Then DWeb Camp may be for you.
